FIA rejects Williams' request to review Baku incidents
Formula One race director Charlie Whiting has rejected Williams' request to review a number of incidents from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, one of which resulted in a three-place grid penalty for Sergey Sirotkin. Williams made the request of the FIA over the weekend, a week on from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The team were asking for other incidents to be reviewed in context with the penalty handed to Sergey Sirotkin, who was given a three-place grid penalty for rear-ending Force India's Sergio Perez at the start of the race. Williams asked the stewards to review subsequent incidents in the race. These were: The tangle between Sirotkin, Renault's Nico Hulkenberg and McLaren's Fernando Alonso...
