Hamilton leads Mercedes F1 1-2 in final Spanish GP practice
Lewis Hamilton headed up a one-two finish for Mercedes in the final Formula 1 practice session ahead of qualifying for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, edging out teammate Valtteri Bottas by just one-hundredth of a second. After leading FP2 on Friday afternoon, Hamilton continued to sit on top of the timesheets as he turned in a fastest lap of 1:17.281 on the Supersoft tyre, beating Bottas by 0.013s in the final classification. Despite Hamilton predicting that the rival Ferrari team would make a step forward on Saturday after "sand-bagging" through the first two practices, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were unable to beat either Mercedes, finishing third and fourth...
