McLaren were approached by three teams for Lando Norris

McLaren chief Zak Brown has revealed that the team were approached on three different occasions with regards to junior driver Lando Norris. Motorsport Week first revealed that Toro Rosso and Red Bull had made an approach about securing Norris' services as they looked to replace an underperforming Brendon Hartley. However McLaren rebuffed the approach as it would have required severing ties with the Formula 2 championship leader. But Brown has revealed that there were other approaches from different teams as Norris continues to prove his talent in the sport's feeded series.
