Raikkonen reckons he could have been on pole in Silverstone

Kimi Raikkonen was third fastest in qualifying yesterday. He reckons he lost time on the hot lap which ended the hopes of his first pole for over one year. The Iceman has been on strong form recently finishing second last weekend. Raikkonen suggests he ruined his own lap late on when he locked the front wheels. He was just 0.09 seconds away from Hamilton's lap, so any mistake is likely to have cost dearly. "On my last run in Q3, I locked the front wheels a little bit on the second last corner, and I definitely lost time there," Raikkonen said in an interview on F1i.
