Magnussen pleased with practice pace yesterday

Kevin Magnussen says he was happy with yesterday’s result at the Hockenheimring. The Haas driver finished inside the top eight confirming the American team are going to be competitive this weekend. The Dane was just over a second off the pace from the two leading Red Bull’s. But more importantly for them, half a second faster than main rivals Renault. The battle for the ‘best of the rest’ could heat up again later today and tomorrow.  “It’s a good track.
