Toto Wolff: Mercedes won't stand in Esteban Ocon's way

Mercedes chief Toto Wolff says the team “wouldn’t stand in the way” if a rival manufacturer was seeking to acquire the services of Esteban Ocon. Ocon has been backed by Mercedes since his title-winning GP3 campaign in 2015 and made his F1 debut mid-2016 for the Mercedes-powered Manor squad, before joining Force India. Ocon has been linked with a move on loan to Renault, with whom he previously carried out FP1 runs for the team in 2014 and 2016, and was affiliated with during his time as a Gravity Sports driver.
