Silverstone WEC: The other Toyota fastest in practice
Jose Maria Lopez sets the fastest lap of the day with a 1:38.536 lap in the #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 Hybrid, the former World Touring Car Champion shaved 1.4 seconds from the FP1 best earlier in the day, 1.357 seconds ahead of the no8 Toyota. Lopez said, The first day went well for us but it’s still just the beginning; it is a long weekend so we have to keep working hard. We focused on getting ourselves ready for the race and understanding the traffic. From my side I am quite happy.'
