Ocon confirms he had seat fitting at McLaren but failed
Esteban Ocon has confirmed he's had a seat fitting at McLaren but failed because of his height, as the MCL33 could apparently not accommodate the large frame of the 21-year-old. It's been quite an unfortunate month for Ocon. First, he looked Renault-bound, until they went and signed Daniel Ricciardo to line up next to Nico Hülkenberg next season. Next, Lawrence Stroll bought Force India and took his son Lance with him to the team, essentially kicking out Ocon. Now, Ocon tried to get a fitted seat at McLaren, but even that went wrong for him.
