Vettel fastest but spins in red-flagged practice – FP2 Report
Italian Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel was fastest but spun his Ferrari at Monza in second practice, which was red-flagged early on. The session had barely got going when on his first flying lap Marcus Ericsson suffered a DRS issue which meant he rear wing stayed open when he braked for the first chicane. The resultant lack of downforce pitched his Sauber nose-first into the barrier, his car then dug into grass and rolled over several times. Ericsson went to the medical centre but escaped without injury. Following a 20-minute clear up to remove the car and repair the barriers, the session was underway again.
