Sergey Sirotkin: 'More than logical' to extend Williams stay

Sergey Sirotkin believes it is “more than logical” for him to extend his stay with Williams into 2019, in order to see the end of its recovery project. Sirotkin linked up with Williams for 2018 but his graduation to Formula 1 coincided with the team’s regression through the order, as it initially struggled to understand its recalcitrant FW41. Williams has spent a large part of the season getting to grips with its weaknesses and has remained at the rear of the field, scoring just seven points.
