Pirelli secure F1 tyre supply agreement until 2023

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Formula 1's tyre supply contract will be held by Pirelli until the end of the 2023 season. With Formula 1's tyre supply deal ending after 2019, the FIA opened up a tender process for the tyre supply contract beyond that date. Along with Pirelli, who always maintained they were happy to continue to supply based on the current commercial agreement, Korean tyre giant Hankook also threw their hat in the ring and went through the intial vetting process with the FIA ahead of the August 31st deadline.
