BBC: 'Mick Schumacher joins Ferrari Academy'

Mick Schumacher, son of Michael Schumacher, has joined the Ferrari Academy, with sources "close to the team" says the BBC. Schumacher, 19, is about to take on his first season in Formula 2, after winning the Formula 3 world championship last season. The 19-year-old's deal includes a chance to drive the famous prancing horse car for two tests with Ferrari in 2019, with Mick keen to follow in his father's footsteps. Michael Schumacher won five of his seven world championships at Scuderia - with the seven-time winner, still not being matched by any other driver.
