Toro Rosso surprised by Albon's strong start
Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost has praised new driver Alexander Albon’s technical feedback and progress in Formula after the driver scored his first points in the Bahrain Grand Prix. Albon finished third in last season’s Formula 2 competition, behind fellow rookies Lando Norris and George Russell earning him a seat at Toro Rosso. The Thai driver has since scored points in Bahrain after a ninth-place finish following a P14 in Melbourne.
