F1 confirms Chicago Festival over Canadian GP weekend

Formula 1 has announced its next fan festival will take place in Chicago’s Solider Field on June 8, the same day as qualifying for Canadian Grand Prix. F1 officials have confirmed the event will be free to attend as it aims to build on the success from the previous festival hosted in Shanghai to celebrate the sport’s 1000th race. A number of F1 drivers will make appearances in Chicago during the festival along with live driving exhibitions on Museum Campus Drive.
