Hamilton won Monaco 'in true Niki Lauda style'

Lewis Hamilton's Monaco Grand Prix victory was driven "in true Niki Lauda" style, according to two-time Formula 1 champion Mika Hakkinen. Hamilton fought off intense pressure from Max Verstappen and clung onto dying tyres to take his fourth win of 2019 in Monte Carlo. Hamilton and Mercedes' efforts in Monaco were painted by the passing of Lauda in the preceding week after long struggles with illness.
