Kvyat – ‘I really didn’t want to finish P11’

Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat secured his fourth points finish of the season and third in a row at the Canadian Grand Prix after finishing tenth behind Lance Stroll. Kvyat had been outside the top ten for the majority of the race but managed to chase down and get past Carlos Sainz’s McLaren towards the end of the race to secure a point for himself and the team. “It was a cool race! I really didn’t want to finish P11,” Kvyat said on Honda’s report. “It would have sucked if we didn’t get any points today.
