Russell satisfied with Canadian Grand Prix performance
George Russell has admitted he was satisfied with his and the Williams team's performance at the Canadian Grand Prix feeling the team "made the most of the situation". Russell finished in 16th place at the race in Montreal only the second time this season that he has finished in a place above the bottom two racers to finish. After finishing P15 in Monaco, the P16 in Canada is continued yet slow progress for the Williams team who have had a torrid start to the 2019 season. After finishing last in the Constructors' Championship in 2018 things have not improved for Williams with the team yet to score a point.
