Ferrari are a young team compared to Mercedes, says Binotto

Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto believes that the Scuderia need to be viewed as a “young” team compared to Mercedes, as the Silver Arrows have had an established hierarchy with everyone knowing their roles and duties for much longer in F1. The Italian outfit are the oldest and most successful team in the history of the sport, having competed since the first F1 season in 1950 and won a record 16 constructors’ championships, but success has been hard to come by in more recent years as they haven’t won that title for over a decade.
