Ocon already targeting seat for next season

Esteban Ocon was unlucky to miss out on a seat for 2019, but he has revealed he and his whole management team are working hard to secure him a drive for next season. Ocon raced for Manor Racing in 2016 and went on to join Force India, now Racing Point for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Ocon was the unlucky driver who missed out on a seat following Lawrence Stroll's purchase of Force India as he gave his son, Lance the seat alongside Sergio Perez. Ocon has been Mercedes' reserve driver this season but faces lots of competition with George Russell also on the books of the Silver Arrows trying to displace the rejuvenated Valtteri Bottas.
