VIDEO: Why is Hulkenberg's cockpit smoking?
Nico Hulkenberg had a moment of panic during the first practice session for the French Grand Prix when smoke began billowing up through his legs in the cockpit of his Renault. Ever the comedian, Hulkenberg said something was "barbecuing" in his car. The issue seemed to have something to do with the Renault running very low to the surface of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Article continues under video Hulkenberg was able to continue with his running in FP1 largely uninterrupted.
