Sainz admits apologising for being 'rude' ahead of Austrian GP

Carlos Sainz had a spectacular race on Sunday, with the McLaren driver charging from P19 to P8 in Austria, but he has admitted he apologised for being "rude" earlier in the weekend. The Spanish driver had to start all the way back in 19th-place after taking a grid penalty for a new engine that was fitted in his MCL34. This is something that clearly made Sainz a bit upset, something he had to apologise for. "I was very depressed," Sainz admitted to Motorsport.com. "I don't know why I had a really bad day.
