Alfa Romeo appoint Jan Monchaux as new Technical Director
With Simone di Resta heading back to Ferrari after his brief spell with Alfa Romeo, the Swiss outfit have appointed Jan Monchaux as the team's new technical director as from 1 August. Monchaux previously worked for Audi Sort as aero boss from 2013 until 2017 when he joined Sauber, he also had a spell at Maranello as the aero department from 2010 to 2013. Press Release Sauber Motorsport AG, which operates and manages the Alfa Romeo Racing team in the Formula One World Championship, are pleased to announce that Head of Aerodynamics, Jan Monchaux, will be promoted to the position of Technical Director, starting from August 1st, 2019.
