Ferrari hope to perform for Vettel in Germany

Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto has indicated that there is an extra incentive for the Scuderia to have a good weekend at the German Grand Prix as it is the home race of Sebastian Vettel. Vettel is having an abject 2019 season, to say the least, as he is currently fourth in the drivers’ championship - 100 points adrift of leader Lewis Hamilton. Arguably the lowest point of his campaign happened in the last race in Britain when he finished in 16th after crashing into the back of Max Verstappen, with the collision causing enough damage to see him freefall down the grid.
