‘F2 is much harder physically’ says Norris

Lando Norris has said that driving in Formula 2 was ‘much harder physically’ than in Formula 1 after his impressive start to his debut season. In F2 last season Norris finished second in the championship behind, now Williams driver, George Russell, having only won one race at the start of the season. But the Brit has potentially exceeded expectations with McLaren so far this season with some excellent qualifying and race performances, finishing a high of sixth in Bahrain and Austria. Norris puts this down to finding it easier to drive an F1 car than the previous categories. Norris said  (quoted by PlanetF1): “I did suffer a lot since karting, with my...
