Stroll buoyed by upgraded Racing Point car
German Grand Prix – Racing Point drivers Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez were pleased with the performance of the upgrades after impressive pace in practice. After the free practice two qualifying simulations, both drivers set times good enough for the top ten, with Stroll and Perez finishing seventh and tenth respectively. The Racing Point team have brought a host of upgrades to the car – including an updated floor and sidepods – in a bid to hoist themselves higher than eighth place in the constructors' championship.
