Alfa Romeo under investigation for data non-compliance

Alfa Romeo have been referred to the stewards over an alleged breach of the Formula 1 regulations at the German Grand Prix. Kimi Raikkonen took seventh place with Antonio Giovinazzi eighth at the conclusion of a wild rain-hit race at Hockenheim. A bulletin was issued by FIA Technical Delegate Jo Bauer revealing that “the race start data of car numbers 07 [Raikkonen] and 99 [Giovinazzi] were checked. 'These were found not being in compliance with Article 27.1 of the Sporting Regulations and Article 9 of the Technical Regulations.' Article 27.1 states that 'the driver must drive the car alone and unaided.' The matter has been referred to the stewards.
