Renault drivers get grid drops with engine upgrade

Renault has confirmed that it will introduce its Spec-C power unit at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, meaning both drivers will receive grid penalties. The French manufacturer confirmed the upgrade to the internal combustion engine (ICE) was for 'minor upgrades to reliability and performance'. As a result, both Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg will take five-place grid penalties for this weekend's event, with the former now on his fifth engine and the latter on his sixth, having previously served penalties for exceeding their component allowance.
