Six drivers set for Belgian GP grid penalty

Six of the drivers competing at this weekend’s Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix are set to take a grid penalty due to new engine components. Mercedes, Renault and Honda have all brought updated power unit specifications to Spa-Francorchamps. Mercedes has equipped its refined power unit to its factory cars and those of Racing Point and Williams. From its representatives, only Lance Stroll will take a penalty as he was left out-of-sequence after taking a new engine at the Canadian Grand Prix, when he suffered a failure during practice.
