Norris: The race was just one lap too long

Belgian Grand Prix – McLaren's Lando Norris lost a strong P5 finish within sight of the chequered flag when he retired at the start of the final lap. McLaren's Lando Norris had been running in P5 and looking nailed on to finish in that position having resisted any possible charge from Racing Point's Sergio Perez in the closing stages. However, his great race all came to naught right at the end of the race when his Renault power unit failed as he entered the start finish straight to begin the final lap. Crossing the line to technically start the lap, he ground to a halt at the side of the track and had to watch on as Perez, Red Bull's Alex Albon and those behind all flew past and...
