Costa to leave Mercedes for Dallara in 2020

Mercedes will lose Aldo Costa to Dallara from 2020 as he is set to become the Italian manufacturer’s new chief technical officer. Costa joined the reigning F1 world champions from Ferrari at the end of 2011 and has been an integral part of its success having acted as chief designer and engineering director since 2013 to oversee Mercedes claim five consecutive world drivers’ and constructors’ titles. Last year Mercedes shuffled its technical heads to move Costa into a technical advisor role, allowing him to spend more time with his family in Italy. Costa will leave Mercedes entirely at the end of September in preparation to become technical head at Dallara from the start of 2020....
