Italian GP Qualifying last lap farce under investigation

Italian Grand Prix – The last lap of Q3 is currently under investigation for an extraordinary approach to the final runs of the Q3 Session. As most drivers required a slipstream for their final runs of qualifying, the leaders all scrambled for a position as they made way towards the first turn. The Renault of Daniel Ricciardo decided to drive across the run-off area, while Lance Strolled backed off as to not overtake the Renault. All to gain the magical tow around Monza.
