F1-supporting Japanese F4 round at Suzuka cancelled
The F1-supporting Japanese Formula 4 round, that was due to support the Japanese Grand Prix, has been cancelled due to the impending arrival of Typhoon Hagibis. The storm is set to bring exceptionally heavy rain and high winds to the country through Saturday. Formula 1 is currently monitoring the situation and no decision has yet been taken as to the course of action. But on Thursday organisers of the Japanese Formula 4 series elected to abandon the upcoming round, which was due to be a non-championship event.
