Sainz: I fully support shorter grand prix weekends

Carlos Sainz supports the idea of shorter Grand Prix weekends, claiming that there is too much practice during the three days that include four hours of free practice before qualifying and then the race. The McLaren driver, who has impressed this season with his maturity and pace, took a leaf out of the typhoon-affected Japanese Grand Prix weekend and suggests this may be the way forward as the championship increases to 22 rounds next year with a 25-race season not unimaginable in the near future.
