Binotto: Vettel-Leclerc Rivalry an ‘Advantage'
Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto maintains his driver pairing of Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel is an ‘advantage', despite their on-track tension throughout the 2019 season. Speaking in an interview with motorsport-total.com, the Italian stated his belief that the competition between the two drivers brings out the best in the both of them. 'If you look at the two drivers at the moment, how they behave, it works well,' he insisted. 'If Charles is disappointed in qualifying that he ends up behind Seb, that's positive.'
