McLaren's weaknesses obvious, says Norris, suggests ‘pink Merc' ahead

McLaren’s Lando Norris says the weaknesses of its MCL35 are “obvious” but conceded the team may be behind Racing Point’s ‘pink Mercedes’, in terms of overall pace. McLaren comfortably finished fourth in last year’s Constructors’ Championship, pulling clear of Renault, while Racing Point classified seventh. Racing Point has caught the eye through this year’s pre-season campaign, having adopted an all-new design, taking inspiration from last season’s title-winning Mercedes W10.
