Magnussen sees off Button in Legends race

Jenson Button came out on the losing end of a thrilling battle with Jan Magnussen in the latest The Race All-Star Legends Trophy event. Lime Rock in the Connecticut countryside was the scene for this Legends Trophy round with competitors using the rFactor 2 McLaren M23. 2009 World Champion Jenson Button was on pole for the opening race, but he was swamped off the line by Magnussen who got the perfect getaway. From there it was all about Magnussen and Button as they pulled away from the pack – Button was all over the Danish driver for the 13-lap race, but was unable to make a move as Magnussen took the chequered flag.
