Mexico City GP committed to November race date
Organisers of Formula 1’s Mexico City Grand Prix say they remain committed to their original race date, following the publication of the championship’s partially revised calendar. Formula 1 revealed the opening eight races of its 2020 schedule on Tuesday, taking in trips to Austria, Hungary, Britain, Spain, Belgium and Italy across July, August and early September. It has yet to publish the remainder of its calendar owing to the uncertainty caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. ADVERTISEMENT Formula 1 remains hopeful of scheduling between 15 and 18 races and expects to conclude the campaign in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi in early-mid December.
