Brawn remains positive: 'We can still provide a comprehensive calendar''

Fifteen to eighteen races is the plan of Formula 1, but with the Grands Prix of Azerbaijan, Singapore and Japan cancelled, there are fewer and fewer places left where Formula 1 can still go. Ross Brawn, however, remains optimistic. Brawn holds out hope On Friday morning it was announced that the three races in Azerbaijan, Singapore and Japan will definitely not appear on the new Formula 1 calendar of 2020. Azerbaijan and Singapore are logistically not feasible as street races and Japan is stuck with flight restrictions. A shame for Formula 1, but Brawn looks further.
