Just one DRS zone for Mugello's F1 debut
The FIA has confirmed that only one DRS zone will be available for drivers upon Formula 1’s inaugural Tuscan Grand Prix at Mugello this weekend. Mugello is the first new addition to Formula 1’s calendar since Baku in 2016 and was added to the roster amid the coronavirus pandemic. The circuit, owned by Ferrari, typically hosts MotoGP’s Italian Grand Prix, but has previously held Formula 1 test sessions, most recently in 2012. The 15-turn circuit features mostly medium- and high-speed corners that work their way through the Tuscan countryside.
