Bottas likes smooth asphalt: "I was playing around a bit"
Valtteri Bottas likes to ride rallies in his spare time and that experience with little grip will have come in handy on Friday in Istanbul. While most of his competitors mainly complain about the asphalt, the Finn found it a nice change. "At first it was quite a long way from what we are normally used to in Formula 1. I did enjoy it. I was playing around with it a little bit and it was really fun", a casual Bottas said to Formula1.com afterwards.
