'No Renault engines, but longer deal with Ferrari for Sauber'

Sauber, the owner of the Alfa Romeo F1 team, seems to have extended its partnership with Ferrari until 2025. This ends suggestions that the team would partner with Renault from 2022. Despite rumours, Alfa Romeo continues contract with Ferrari Alfa Romeo has signed a contract with Ferrari until the end of 2021. The results of the Ferrari engine were disappointing in 2020 and Renault would still be looking for a second team to supply engines to, which would allow Alfa Romeo to switch.
