Domenicali: F1 in discussions with other manufacturers
New Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has confirmed that the sport is in talks with manufacturers about a potential future entry. With Honda leaving F1 at the end of this season, Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault look set to be the only power-unit suppliers from 2022, although Red Bull are in talks about taking the Honda engine in-house. Domenicali did not give too much away but said it was 'good news' that manufacturers still see value in being part of the series. 'What I can say is that we are in discussion with other manufacturers,' he told Sky Sports F1. 'For the moment, they prefer to stay quiet still. But the good news is that there are other companies who are really keen to understand...
