Aston Martin has hired a performance engineer in Vettel - Szafnauer
Aston Martin team principal Otmar Szafnauer has likened Sebastian Vettel's desire for knowledge of his new car to that of a performance engineer whose role is to understand every nuance of that machinery. Vettel is embarking on a new chapter in his Formula 1 career after six seasons with Ferrari where he fell short of his target of winning a fifth world title and ended it on a low note with his worst season in the sport.
