AlphaTauri takes covers off 2021 F1 car, the AT02
AlphaTauri has unveiled its 2021 Formula 1 car, the AT02, during a digital launch on Friday morning. The Red Bull-owned team rebranded as AlphaTauri for 2020 following 14 years competing as Toro Rosso. AlphaTauri emerged as a challenger in the closely-contested midfield group, particularly in the hands of Pierre Gasly, who went on to score a shock win at Monza’s Italian Grand Prix. It marked only the second Formula 1 victory for the Faenza-based team since it joined as Minardi in 1985. AlphaTauri went on to finish seventh in the Constructors’ Championship. Gasly has been retained for 2021, for his fourth full season in Formula 1, and has been joined by debutant Yuki Tsunoda. Tsunoda,...
