Hamilton in no rush to secure Mercedes future
Lewis Hamilton has said the decision on whether to extend his Formula 1 career or go into retirement will "come to me" as the season progresses. By the end of the year, Hamilton could stand clear as statistically the greatest Formula 1 driver of all time. Tied with Michael Schumacher on seven world titles, Hamilton enters 2021 as the favourite to win the crown for a record-breaking eighth time and the Briton is also only five wins and two pole positions away from becoming the first driver to hit a century in either category.
