Perez wants a shot at the title: "Winning is everything"
After ten years in Formula 1 driving for teams in the midfield Sergio Perez finally gets the chance to race for a top team. In 2021 he hopes to have a direct shot at the world title. Perez wants to be world champion "Winning is everything", Perez opens the conversation with The Guardian. "You come into F1 with ambition to become a world champion but very early on I realised you have to be in the right spot at the right time to be able to contend for the title. Hopefully this year I am and I can fight for it." Perez made the switch from Racing Point to Red Bull Racing last winter where he is teammate of Max Verstappen.
