Difficult debut for Schumacher with spin: "It was very windy"

For the Haas drivers, their debut in Bahrain did not go as they had hoped. Nikita Mazepin crashed out of the race on the first lap and Mick Schumacher spun as well, but still finished the race. The German still had a lot of trouble this weekend. Haas struggling Haas chooses to start with two 'Rookies' in 2021. Team boss Günther Steiner needed two drivers who bring a lot of money, but also have the potential to be fast. With Schumacher and Mazepin he brought in guys from Formula 2 who already had some years of experience, but also both brought a bag of money.
