FIA crack down on Imola track limits
Sam Hall Thursday 15 April 2021 11:33 - Updated: 11:34 The FIA will closely monitor track limits at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix after widespread confusion in the Formula 1 season-opener. Despite the on-track action providing plenty of excitement at the Bahrain Grand Prix, the largest topic of discussion after the weekend was the track limits regulations. Article continues under video Lewis Hamilton ran wide at turn four 29 times without punishment after the race directors notes stated: "The track limits at the exit of Turn four will not be monitored with regard to setting a lap time, as the defining limits are the artificial grass and the gravel trap in that location."
