Perez optimistic about own chances: 'Good feeling that we can win'.
Sergio Perez will be looking back at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix qualifying session with an excellent feeling. The Mexican driver put his Red Bull Racing car on the front row of the grid, alongside Lewis Hamilton and ahead of teammate Max Verstappen. Expectations are high for Sunday's race, although Perez is still cautious. "What a massive result for us, knowing that I could win the race tomorrow is definitely a good feeling. There are a lot of positives to take out of today but I made a little mistake at the final turn, I was so close to pole," Perez acknowledged in the review of Red Bull.
