Stroll demoted by penalty for off-track Gasly pass
Ewan Gale Sunday 18 April 2021 19:09 - Updated: 19:18 Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll has lost seventh position at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix after overtaking Pierre Gasly by cutting the Tamburello chicane. Stroll had already failed on track in attempting to overtake the AlphaTauri, who was on slower wet tyres at Imola when he made his way past on lap 11 by skipping across the gravel trap, proceeding to pull away from the Frenchman.
